- Meeting
Facilitation
Designed to enhance effectiveness and participation,
Aslan Associates partner with their client to plan and
facilitate meetings that
achieve objectives.
Facilitation may involve
assisting with preparation for the meeting (e.g.,
identifying
the purpose, making sure the right people will be there,
developing the agenda), leading the meeting as a
facilitator (e.g., setting ground rules, fostering
dialogue, utilizing consensus-building, maximizing idea
generation, handling
conflict if it arises, clarifying further steps and
tasks), and evaluating the effectiveness of the meeting.

- Communication
Audits
Communication
Audits objectively access the communication within an
organization and provide guidance and direction on how
it can be improved. They can focus on the entire
organization, specific groups (including customers,
employee work units, stakeholders, etc.), or individual's
communication. By examining the effectiveness
of communication within certain groups and contexts,
Communication Audits help organizations respond to
current issues and problems, anticipate future needs,
and advance strategic objectives.
A
typical Communication Audit will include surveys,
interviews, participant observation, and network
analysis. Objectives of the audit are to map the
communication flows, pin-point weaknesses in the system,
measure and compare the data with normative standards,
and provide a set of recommendations and an implementation
plan.
